Scenario: You are currently on patrol when you spot an enemy squad digging in
on a hilltop located southeast of your position. You are unsure of your position.
You are able to see the hilltop and also a water tower located in a northeasterly
direction from your location. Using resection, determine the 6-digit grid coordinate
of your position to within +/- 100 meters.
Click on the Hilltop Button
to complete the first part of this exercise and then click on the Water Tower
button to complete the second part of the exercise. The third part of the exercise
will require you to determine your position to within a plus or minus 100 meters.
Click on the respective icons when you need the lensatic compass, protractor,
and the GM declination diagram. Enter your answers in the white box when you
have completed the required tasks. At the end of the exercise, click on the
"DONE" button to check your final answer.
